Cole History:

The Grifter's true age is a mystery. It is known that Cole was a driver for the mob in his early teens. When he joined the military, Cole was recruited into a special team of black ops soldiers exposed to a chemical called the Gen Factor.

The Gen Factor gave the soldiers of Team Seven incredible telekinetic and telepathic powers, but eroded their moral senses. Rejecting the Gen Factor, Cole left Team Seven and worked or IO (International Operations) as an assassin. Disenchanted with IO, Cole wandered for a while before meeting Zealot. The two fell in love, and Zealot trained Cole in the ways of the Coda. He is the only man to receive Coda training.

When Zealot learned of the Gifted One with the power known as the Sight (the ability to see a joined Daemonite), she sent Grifter to save the Gifted One. Joining with the other Wildcats, Zealot and Grifter have been part of their war on the Daemonites.

When the Wildcats broke up, Grifter went freelance. Without access to high technology, Grifter had to rely on his skills and military training.

Powers:

Grifter is one of the deadliest men on the planet. Buried deep within him are the powers granted to him by the Gen Factor chemical (telepathy, telekinesis, advanced healing, and slowed aging). Cole is also a master linguist who has connections all over the spy world. Cole's favorite weapon is the hand blaster. He is a crack shot with the pistol.
